Water 4 Good Charity Golf Day

The Water 4 Good Charity Golf Day with Morne Steyn and Vlok Cilliers which took place in perfect weather conditions at Woodhill Golf Estate on 31 May 2012, was a huge success in more than one way.  A host of celebrities supported this event in aid of South Africa’s Disabled Team who will be participating in the Olympic Games in London later this year. The money that was raised in the competition and the auction during prize giving dinner will ensure that our disabled athletes will have all the support needed to enhance their chances of bringing back medals.

CHS contributed in a very special way. Most of our students and lecturers participated in the event by taking care of the preparation of the three course menu as well as the service throughout the evening. Jack vander Merwe, CEO of the Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) made special mention of CHS’s contribution and it was a proud moment for Principal/Director Ronel Bezuidenhout when he introduced our students and chef lecturers to the audience during the prize giving ceremony.

Our own Neels Bezuidenhout, who played in the Morne Steyn four-ball, had an excellent day on the course. Here he is seen with the rest of the team shortly after teeing off on the twelfth tee. They are Neels Bezuidenhout, (CHS) Alastair Laing (CEO Unlimited Events); Morne Steyn and Casper Gyser.
