The Gourmet Braai Competition hosted by The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy

This year the annual Gourmet Wors competition donned a new coat and was re-labeled the “Gourmet Braai Competition“.  On 7 April the competition was hosted at the premises of the Capital Hotel School and Training Academy.

FotorCreatedThis year three training establishments participated in the Gourmet Braai Competition; HTA School of Culinary Art, Sondela Academy and The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy.

Teams were judged on their stands, the braai experience and the mystery ingredient.

The mystery ingredient this year was the glorious Scallops, cooked on the braai.

Wonderful, interactive displays on the day was hosted by:

  • Nestlè & Maggi – with super yummy treat like Krispie Treats, Brownies, Fudge and Aero Hot Chocolate
