Students Pay it Forward.

The students at The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy aspire to this saying of Albert Einstein:

“A life lived for others, is the only life worth living.”

With this in mind that the, the 2nd year Professional Cookery students hosted two fantastic Food and Beverage evenings in aid of ELEOS which means “Mercy in Action”.

ELEOS is a registered, non-profit organisation that endeavours to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need, in Pretoria-West. ELEOS operates independently, without any help or support from the government.

Facing the reality of all the overwhelming needs in the Danville community, ELEOS has been investing in the Danville Rooms for the past two years. Their goal has been to work alongside the residents being relevant to their life experiences and to empower themselves to be effective in their efforts to poverty relief. “We are happy to say that the result has been beyond our every expectation!”

“Every donation we receive is a big help to better the lives of those in dire need of it”, said Willie van Zyl when presented with the donation of R 8100, 00 on 16 November 2012. The funds will support the ELEOS Danville Project.
