Review: Red Carpet Affair Pop-Up Restaurant

Rolling out the red carpet at The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy was the task of a group of Professional Cookery students for the practical component to the Event Management module.

The scene was set with a red carpet and elaborate table decorations; making the guests feel like VIP guests for the evening.

The Chef-lecturers and Professional Cookery students created wonderful dishes such as Pan Seared Snails, Garlic Puree and Parsley Jus for starters and Smoked Venison Fillet topped with Red Wine Jus, Pommes Dauphinoise, Mushroom Ragout, Watercress Salad.

The students responsible for Food & Drink Service spoiled the guests for a real VIP-experience.  Camera lights were flashing and the whole evening was “ooh la la” from start to finish.

1 (1)Once again the students opted for Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre as their charity of choice and we would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Debbie Herselman and Graham Kennard for supporting us and being active partners with The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy.
