Review: Great Gatsby Pop-Up Restaurant

12 June 2014

The Great Gatsby is a story of the thwarted love between a man and a woman which takes place over a mere few months during the summer of 1922.  F. Scott Fitzgerald penned this classic in 1925; an amazing 90 years ago.  This decadent theme has become popular with the re-make of the 2013 version featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan in the iconic roles of Gatsby and the lovely Daisy.

Setting the scene for the Roaring Twenties speaks of opulence and decadence which was the theme of that time.

Students of the Capital Hotel School and Training Academy conclude their Event Management module with planning and hosting an event which contribute to their practical assessment.

The Great Gatsby Pop-Up Restaurant was lavish and decadent as the author intended; tables were set with feathers and bling.
