Nadia’s professional career began after a working holiday in Paris, France.  She embraced the concept that food is not merely sustenance but a theatre for art, creativity and tradition.  Food should be simple enough to be understood, yet unique enough to be intriguing.

She completed her culinary studies at Prue Leith Chefs Academy and was shortly thereafter employed at Tintswalo at Waterfall Boutique Hotel as the Chef Pâtissier.  She supplemented her studies with a Certificate in Advanced Pastry Preparation with Chef Nicolas van der Walt at his concept store in Fourways.

After numerous functions which was featured on Top Billing, and even preparing lunch for ex-president Nelson Mandela, she identified the lack of skill demonstrated by young chefs entering the hospitality industry and committed herself to the realm of training and development.

Her involvement with The International Hotel School provided her with bounds of excellent experience in training, not only focusing on Hospitality students, but industry specialists alike.  Her knowledge and experience provided her with an opportunity to conduct training in the capital of Lesotho, Maseru, for The Tourism Council of Lesotho to improve their skills shortly before the Fifa World Cup.

Since relocating to Pretoria, Chef Nadia  joined The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy as a Chef Lecturer. She’s proven herself an asset in administrative tasks and, together with the rest of the team, will endeavor new business development and brand recognition for CHS.
