About the competition

This is the second year in which the competition was conducted in partnership with the Fortis Hotel Group and the Department of Education.  A staggering number of 58 learners enrolled for the competition this year in the three categories.  A group of 10 finalists were selected for the Advanced Cookery category and the Siyaya category respectively.  There was also 15 learners who took part in the Management category which was introduced this year.
