The artistic and creative Chef Keegan Brook has joined our Professional Cookery department.

Chef Keegan Brook completed her schooling at St Dominic’s College in Welkom (Free State).

Chef Keegan completed the City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking, the Diploma in Pastry as well as the Advanced Diploma in Pastry at Food and Beverage Institute and Pastry Academy; under the skillful training of Chef Nicolas Van Der Walt, in 2012.

She worked at Silver Orange Bistro, as a Trainee Pastry Chef, before venturing into the bushveld to work at Molori Safari Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve.  Chef Keegan returned to the Free State to open up a new restaurant, and manage a small deli and bakery.

Chef Keegan wants to teach other aspiring chefs to create wonderful works of art and to achieve their dreams.

Chef Keegan is an active individual and aspire to climb Mount Everest in the near future.
