Keabetswe Tibane (or Chef Kea, as he is fondly called), is the Kitchen Department Assistant.

Chef Kea is a product of CHS and the Professional Cookery programme.  Chef Kea assists with the daily operations of the Kitchen Department and is responsible for the culinary delights which is available from the on-site tuck shop, Tuck Inn.

Chef Kea is a talented and ambitious young chef with a passion for “street food”.    He received his practical experience at Lombardy Boutique Hotel & Spa, Sheraton Hotel Pretoria, Schweet Emporium, Kniff un Gaffel and Innjoy Boutique Hotel.

In his spare time, Chef Kea delights patrons of various “foodie markets” and festivals with his fresh fare.

Look out for this ambitious young chef, he loves experimenting with flavours and hope that one day he will be able to combine traditional ingredients and culinary philosophies with modern techniques to produce internationally influenced dishes.
