ILM Foundation Award in Management Principles

The course consist of:

  • Managing People – 20 hours of tuition
    Motivating People, Understanding Leadership and Teams, Managing Change and Conflict.
  • Managing Activities – 16 hours of tuition
    Customer Service Standards and Requirements, Planning, Organising and Controlling, Managing Health and Safety.
  • Managing Information – 20 hours of tuition
    Problem Solving and Decision Making, Information Recording, Storage and Retrieval, I.T. and Communication in the Workplace.
  • Managing Resources – 17 hours of tuition
    The Economic Climate, Financial and Management Accounting and Budgets, Purchasing and Supply, Stores and Stock Control.

The course is suitable for:

  • Candidates who have the necessary qualities and who are prepared to commit to 75 hours (9, 5 Days) of world-class leadership training.
    Training will be done over a period of 2 months. Please note that a condensed course in Leadership/Management (without international accreditation) is available.

Certification

  • After each topic, candidates will be assessed through practical exercises, question and answer sessions and work-based assignments.
  • The international ILM examination for the Foundation Award in Management Principles will be written after attendance and completion of the entire programme.
