Introduction to Hospitalit-e

Generally blended learning is described as a combination of two learning environments namely classroom learning and online learning. The Capital Hotel School has developed a unique and engaging blended learning platform directly aimed at skills development for Hospitality employees.

The platform, called Hospitalit-e by CHS, was officially launched in May 2017 with a blended learning Advanced Diploma, accredited through City and Guilds, as well as a City and Guilds Skills Proficiency Programme for Chefs.

This launch was quickly followed with tailor-made, white-labelled, skills development programmes using accredited CATHSSETA material, chosen by our clients to upskill their national and international employees.

  • Advanced Diploma in Food Preparation and Catering Supervision
    City and Guilds ID: 8065-04 (Level 3)
    1 Year In-Service
  • National Certificates in Professional Cookery, National Certificates in Accommodation Services, National Certificate in Food and Beverage Services and National Certificate in Reception Services

CATHSSETA

1 Year In-Service (for each certificate)

  • Skills Alignment Certificate in Professional Cookery
    6 months in service
  • Short courses: we offer a wide rage or tailor made short courses designed according to each client’s needs and requirements, including guest experience, waste management for the kitchen and train the trainer.
