Flavours of Tshwane 2017 – Word of Thanks

The past weekend (4 June) the annual Flavours of Tshwane was hosted at the Pretoria Country Club.  This gastronomic event celebrated Pretoria-restaurants as well as food producers and wine estates.

This year’s line-up was a myriad of flavours and tastes, which catered for everyone, with the following restaurants showcasing two taster size portions of their dishes:

Organiser, Fortunato Mazzone, had some words of thanks for everyone involved in making this day a wonderful tasty delight:

I thought the restaurants all prepared delicious and lovely food and pulled out the stops. You are all my family you know that and the way we look after each other is for me quite touching. It was great to have the magnificent Sun International “machine” with us at the show as well as our new colleagues from the Publican. Also the students from Capital Hotel School were so hard working and scrupulously professional. I would be happy to employ any of them. – Fortunato Mazzone, Chef Restaurateur of Forti Grill and Bar.


We are proud of all the CHS volunteers who assisted during this food festival, and thank you for keeping the CHS flag flying high.  We look forward to next year’s event!
