An Italian Affair to remember!

The Event Management component of the full time programmes result in some of the most amazing functions at The Capital Hotel School and Training Academy.  This one was one for the books!

On Wednesday morning the campus was bustling with activity as set-up for this elaborate function started much earlier than other functions.

Professional Cookery students were toiling away in the kitchen in preparation of the event and Hospitality Management students were polishing glasses dutifully as tables were set with beautiful and personalised items.

The menu was an Italian feast (as the theme of the event promised);

Antipasto
Classic Italian Style Meatballs with Basil and Oregano
Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
Olive Crostini
Marinated Feta
Scorched Peppers with Basil Pesto

Secondo
Osso Bucco with Gremolata and Grilled Polenta accomdanied by Seared Baby Vegetables

Dolce
Trio of desserts

White Chocolate Tiramisu
Ruby Panna Cotta
Pistachio Gelato

Digestive
Biscotti and Dark Roast Coffee
