Chef Gary Evans at Capital Hotel School

We promised that June will be hot hot hot…on Friday, 9 June, Chef Gary addressed the CHS students on the range and versatility of the Tabasco® products.  For many students, and the CHS team, we only knew about the “red bottle” and the “green bottle”.  Chef Gary created wonderful dishes showcasing the flavour and complexity of the spiciness of the traditional Tabasco® sauces.  Those of you who enjoy a smoked hot sauce; the Tabasco® Chipotle will be your new favourite condiment.

International corporate chef for Tabasco®, Gary Evans, cooked with Capital Hotel School students.

Chef Gary Evans, the international corporate chef for Tabasco® Brand, was at Capital Hotel School, in Pretoria, to teach students about the versatility of Tabasco and to show them how it can be used in an variety of dishes – desserts included.

His passion for cooking started at a young age when he would make food his siblings and he’s never looked back.

It was a fun-filled event with Capital Hotel School cheffies running around and making sure to pull out all of the stops to impress chef Gary.
