All Hallow’s Eve Feast

Halloween Food and Beverage Evening – 29 October 2013

Double, double toil and trouble;

Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) from Macbeth

Ghosts and goblins roamed the campus on Tuesday, 29 October, as a prelude to the All Hallows’ Eve in support of an amazing charity, the Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre.

Ghosts, goblins and guests alike were treated to a devilishly delicious four course meal.  The menu was packed with seasonal produce prepared by a team of Hospitality Operations students, under the watchful eyes of ghouls and phantoms wandering the night.

The campus was transformed into a haunted house fit for any wizard or witch.  Creepy cobwebs dotted the staircase and cowl, as Hecate played the ivory spell.

Zombies and beasts served the feast as the jack-o-lanterns glowed a fright.

What a hair-raising event is has been, in our very own mausoleum.
